Being an instructor …
Being an instructor/musician from a music academy i’ve found when playing the A major using the 2nd finger on the d string, 3rd on the g string, 4th on the b string, it is more economical to simply drop the 1st finger without moving any others to 1st position to minor the chord and without any string noise from lifting other fingers unnecessarily if you were amped on a stage. you can also suspend the A major chord by simply shifting the 4th over the fret etc… internet lessons, be careful
